Nova Measuring Instrument Ltd

Nova Measurements Instruments is a fast growing optical scatterometry-metrology company. In a market with a compound annual growth rate of 6.2% (2014 – 2018). Nova have achieved an annual growth of 14% over the past 4 year. Nova’s management and board of directors understood the importance material metrology will have in coming years and acquired Revera in 2015, a company which develops, manufactures and markets XPS tools (x-ray photo electron spectroscopy) for inline use in fabs. Since then and based on internal expertise in optical metrology Nova heavily invests in other optical material metrology solutions which to support the growing need of the semiconductor industry to measure a versatility of material properties which will be production worthy in terms of ease of use and COO from one side, and enable with correct infrastructure in place from the other side to combine these methods with plasmonic, high resolution methods to achieve optimized results.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT:

  • Development of machine learning algorithms and solutions that will use plasmonic tips material metrology measurement results as training/reference sets to fast optical material metrology tools as enabler of production worthy material metrology solutions with plasmonic tips resolution.
  • Participation in material characterization of sample sets which will be manufactured by the consortium semi-manufacturing participants for the purpose of metrology comparison methods.
  • Development of machine learning solutions that will use plasmonic tips material metrology as training/reference sets to fast optical material metrology tools as enabler of production worthy material metrology solutions with plasmonic tips resolution.
